The Overlook was originally built in 1983 by a local developer named Doug Spann. This was his residence and showroom for local residential builds for many years. I purchased The Overlook in 2011 and worked on improvements to utilize the views and make the home comfortable for guests on both sides of the duplex. I lived in this house until 2016 and that is when it became a full time rental property. My goal is to provide a comfortable spot for vacationers and locals to use as a home base when visiting or living in Crested Butte.
